From 60 to 10 hrs/week

๐Ÿ“ข Coming in July: ๐Ÿ“ข The book that explains how I went from 60 hrs/week managing fires to 10 hrs/week mentoring the team. With better results. ๐ŸŒŸ

I used to think I needed to work harder to show the team a sense of urgency. Everything depended on me: radiating energy, noticing whatโ€™s failing, and so on. As a result, I felt like a prisoner in my own company.

But the problem was me. As CEO, I could create any company I wanted. And what I had created reflected my beliefs at that time: โ€œIf I work less, the team will work less. If I donโ€™t catch the error, nobody will. If I donโ€™t check on people, they wonโ€™t work hard.โ€

I see clearly now but at the time, I only vaguely sensed something was wrong.

๐Ÿ’ก The turning point came when I asked myself: โ€ The honest answer wasโ€ฆ no. ๐Ÿค” (๐˜ž๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ๐˜ญ๐˜ฅ ๐˜บ๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ด๐˜ธ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ โ€œ๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ๐˜ญ๐˜ญ ๐˜บ๐˜ฆ๐˜ข๐˜ฉโ€?)

I spent the next decade researching and building organizations that help people do their best work and love it.

๐Ÿ“Œ This led to a whole new set of beliefs, listed 10 in the slideshow below. They helped me develop my team, end firefighting, and work on new projects.

And for those looking for more actionable help....

๐ŸŽ Iโ€™m about to release the book that explains exactly how to translate this leadership mindset into a practical operating system that brings out the best in teams. Stay tuned!! ๐Ÿ‘€

PS: Iโ€™m proud of the first feedback on the book. Much love for my dear clients and early readers. ๐Ÿ™ โค๏ธ
